We met near sunset to play in the Bear Lake hills and create colorful portraits. I wanted to give this family a unique set of images, the kind that tell a story, full of fun and love, and of course, gorgeous lighting. With my photography, I’m not interested in creating the perfectly posed portrait with every hand in the right spot, and every person with a smile facing me. I want to illustrate what makes the imperfections in your family simply beautiful. I don’t mind a wet hem, or wind blown hair. I don’t mind a crying baby, or a toddler gone silly. I don’t mind the look siblings give each other, or their banter and laughs. These are all the elements of who you are right now, and they are beautiful and fleeting. Recorded as photographs, they can last a bit longer.
