Come meet me at the lake
We met in the morning to play in the Bear Lake water and create some special memories. They were weeks away from adding a new member to their family. I wanted to give this family a unique set of images, the kind that tell a story, full of fun and love. With my photography, I’m not interested in creating the perfectly posed portrait with every hand in the right spot, and every person with a smile facing me. I want to illustrate what makes the imperfections in your family simply beautiful. I don’t mind a wet hem, or wind blown hair. I don’t mind a crying baby, or a toddler gone silly. These are all the elements of who you are right now, and they are beautiful and fleeting. Recorded as photographs, they can last a bit longer.
